Fares (one way)
Travel within one town: $2.00
Travel between towns: $4.00
Children under 5 ride free when accompanied by a paying adult--up to one child free per adult.
Discounted tickets for 10 one-way rides, can also be purchased by residents of all five towns (Egremont, Great Barrington, Stockbridge, West Stockbridge and Monterey), at the Claire Teague Senior Center transportation office, in Great Barrington, weekdays from 8:00AM to 4:00PM. Tickets may also be purchased on the vans and at local Senior Centers.
Prices for these discounted tickets are: $15.00 for travel within one town, a 25% discount, and $25.00 for multi-town trips, a 38% discount.
Weekly Workforce Passes are available for residents, providing travel between any of the communities for $15.00/week. This pass provides one daily round-trip for 7 consecutive days.
Rides are also available (for seniors only) to New Marlborough, from 8:00AM to 4:00PM, on weekdays only ($4.00 each way), and to medical appointments in Pittsfield for $15.00 (round trip) but only between 8:00AM and 4:00PM, on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Seniors needing personal assistance to ride or participate in activities are encouraged to have family or volunteers to accompany them at no charge.
Keep an eye out for proposed service changes, which take place each Change Day-- 4 times per year, on Feb 1, May 15, Sept 1, and Dec 15. Information will be posted under Service Alerts and In the News 30-45 days prior.
